Barbara Puffer, public relations consultant
Barbara
brings 35 years of communications experience in her senior consulting
role with The Rodgers Group. She handles a broad range of public
relations, development and marketing assignments, with specialized
expertise in non-profit, health and industry. She has managed national
media relations for RGL clients such as Total Resource Management and
Travel Technology Group. She has led research on projects spanning from
surveys for the National Alzheimer's Association to focus groups for
Mercy Health System's Executive Communication Program. Barbara is the
recipient of more than 100 awards for her work and is an accredited
member of IABC for which she has held local, regional and international
leadership positions. She also serves as Associate Professor and Course
Chairman of Communications Studies and Professional Writing for the
University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
