TRAVEL TECHNOLOGY GROUP WEB SITE REDESIGN
THE OBJECTIVE
To develop a new web site design and copy approach for Travel Technology
Group (Travel Tech) aimed at strategically communicating the company's
expanding capabilities as a global provider of housing, travel and
registration services for the convention and meetings industry.
IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM
As an industry leader in developing and applying the latest technology
to its comprehensive travel and meeting planning services, Travel Tech
sought to update the look and message of its web site. Travel Tech
called on The Rodgers Group to assess its current site, and then to
provide strategic recommendations for creating an online marketing and
communication tool that conveyed the company's growth, energy and
customer-focused services. After input sessions with Travel Tech's
management team, RGL proposed a stylized, easy-to-navigate approach to
design and copy to allow visitors to quickly access key information.
Through colorful illustrations and streamlined text - highlighted by
informational headlines and callouts - the site was completely revamped.
The Rodgers Group managed all elements of the project, from concept,
design and illustration to writing and coding. Additionally, RGL made
creative recommendations for the site's long-term maintenance and
development.
RESULTS
With its mix of eye-catching color, lively illustrations and concise,
sales-oriented copy, the redesigned site delivered a fresh look. The
improved, user-friendly format allowed flexibility for spotlighting
ongoing announcements, service offerings, staff profiles and client
testimonials.
